It's 4 U - 2006-2007

Reaching out to one another
Reaching out to God
Reaching out into the community

During 2006-2007 we have organised a series of events in Settle and District under the banner of "It's 4 U"

The penultimate of these events is an Alpha Supper on 16 Sept 2007, which leads into an Alpha Course run jointly by Churches in Settle.

ALPHA – It's for you!

Over 2 million people in the UK and 8 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha course - an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. It is being run in tens of thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.

Alpha provides a relaxed and informal opportunity for participants to explore the Christian faith and then make up their own minds about Christianity. There are eleven thought-provoking weekly sessions, with one day away (on a Saturday). It is low-key, friendly and fun – and is supported by all the main Christian denominations.

Over the past year, churches in the Settle Area have arranged a number of events as part of the ‘It's 4U' programme. They will be running an Alpha course in the Autumn, and invite anyone who would like to know more about it to come to an ‘Alpha Supper' to be held at 7.0 p.m. on Tuesday 18 th September at St. John's Church Hall.
