EVENTS  MARCH - MAY 1999

Friday 26th March
7.30 p.m.

Books and Social Evening. at St John's Methodist Church Hall, Settle (small room). Bring your favourite natural history books to show to other members of the group. We will also be preparing the display of "Books and Articles written by Craven Conservation Group members" for the Arts and Crafts event

Saturday 27th March
9.30 a.m.

Mosses Morning, or "Bryophytes for Beginners". Borrins Farm, Selside. Meet at Settle Swimming Pool car park, or at Borrins Farm at 10 a.m. Please phone 01729 860379 or email if you are coming.

Saturday 3rd April
10 a.m.

Ingleton Waterfalls Walk. with Kirkby Lonsdale and District Watch Group and Liz Neale. Bring packed lunch and wear strong, gripping footwear. Meet at Waterfalls entrance. For further details contact 015242 41155.

Birdwatching at Attermire and Winskill Morning walk 9.30 a.m. to look for early summer migrants. Meet at Lancliffe Institute car park. Contact Gerald Light 01729 825973.

Saturday 1st May
9.30 a.m.

Bird watching at Stock's Reservoir. Gerald Light will take members on an informative walk to see and identify the many birds that frequent the Reservoir. Please bring hot drinks (and lunch too if you would like to stay till the afternoon). Don't forget your binoculars. Meet in Settle Swimming Pool Car Park. For more details phone 01729 825973
