CRAVEN CONSERVATION GROUP EVENTS             Aug-Nov

Sat 5-Sat 19 Aug
10.30am-4.30pm daily Ingleton Wildlife Exhibition at Ingleton Community Centre: Free. This includes exhibition material from The Wildlife Trusts : Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria, from the Yorkshire Dales National Park, from English Nature, from Martinmere, from FWAG, from Leighton Moss, from Kirkby Lonsdale Watch, and of course, from Craven Conservation Group. Lots of activities for children and adults.

Tues 15th August
7.30pm Batwatch evening with Tony Marshall. Joint event with Kirkby Lonsdale and District Wildlife Watch Group, starting with a talk at Ingleton Community Centre Meet there or at Settle Community Swimming Pool Car Park at 7.00pm to share transport.

Saturday 14 October
2 p.m. Fungus Foray with Judith Allinson. Meet at Settle Swimming Pool Car Park. Email for further details

Tues 24 October
7.30 p.m. One World Week Event: "Charity and Causes" fair to be held, most likely at St John's Church Hall, Settle: Craven Conservation Group will host a stall at this event.

Saturday 25 November
7.30am Birdwatching trip to Caerlaverock with Gerald Light. Wild Geese in their thousands stay at this WWT reserve near Dumfries over winter. Entrance fee waived for WWT members showing membership card. Bring boots, waterproofs and packed lunch, meet at Settle Swimming Pool Car Park. phone 01729 825973 for further details.

7.30pm AGM and slide show at Linton Court Gallery, Settle. Bring a dozen of your slides to show
